Get A Sneak Peak At The MiPosaur – coming in 2015 –

We first saw MiP (Motion Inverted Pendulum) at CES 2014, and we finally got our hands on MiP so we could do a full review. We are VERY impressed with MiP. First you have the fact this robot self balances on 2 wheels, which is pretty cool. Then you have all the different modes to play with MiP. Finally you have the MiP app and all the games and controls available from the app.

Here is all the info on MiP –

Equipped with GestureSense™ technology, any hand motion controls MiP™. Using its free app, you can drive it, play games & more all while MiP™ balances on two wheels!

It’s the year of the MiP™. Perched atop unique dual wheels, this multifunctional and autonomous robot is more than just a toy. Powered by an iOS or Android smartphone, your eyes will light up at what MiP™ can do.

Thanks to our innovative equipment, MiP™ responds to motions, be it your hand or an object. Effortless navigation, MiP™ is always trying to please!

Your new buddy likes to have fun, and invites you to join. Show some praise, and MiP™ will be your new best friend, but push it down, and you’re in for an angry robot!

Not only does MiP™ offer tons of gameplay fun, but there’s also an app that enables you to drive, dance, battle, balance, and so much more.

The MiP will sell for about $110 and will be available at Best Buy. Please visit http://www.DadDoes.Com for a full review of MiP by Wowwee toys.

I can’t get the damn sensors to work 99 % of the time when trying to move it with gestures. Could that be a malfunction or is it just normal? Maybe it could be the fact I’m using rechargable AAA’s and not normal ones as rechargables have 1.2 volts and normal ones 1.5 volts. That little bit of voltagedifference could make certain systems not performing optimally.
