Here’s a little variety video for my viewers. A very cheap RC car stocking stuffer. Find it here and use coupon code rc18off to get it for under $9 https://goo.gl/hhCHC7
There are many very cheap toy RC cars that do a good job of teaching the basics of RC orientation control via movement alone. Orientation by movement is applicable for nearly all RC vehicles (stabilized airplanes, helicopters, drones, cars, boats). This simple to learn technique is if an RC vehicle is moving right, turn right to bring it toward you. Or if it’s moving left, turn left to bring it toward you.
Pros
– Fun little toy. Very easy to control via its four forward back right left buttons.
– Steering trim on car. Also back wheels have suspension.
– A single charge gives about 5 minutes of drive time.
– Quickly recharges in about ten minutes through its controller using its alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
– It’s a cheap $10 stocking stuffer.
Cons
– It is a toy. No proportional steering. Needs a relatively flat smooth surface for best operation.
– It is small, possible choking hazard. Keep out of the reach of the very young.

i was the first to like the video
does it fly? :v
Needs a FPV camera! 😀 hahahaha
I know it is a bit early to bring it up but this looks like a great little stocking stuffer 🙂
hello Quadcopter 101, i recently bought the XK X250-A. i know the range of both the fpv and the transmitter is 150-200 meters, but i dont know of the camera is tiltable. If it isn’t, do you know an FPV 5.8ghz camera that connects to a seperate battery and can be mounted onto the drone separately, instead of feeding off of the drones battery. I tried the TX01 but realized the image was upside down and doesnt rotate and i only got out to about 100 meters. Im looking for one that can switch between 25mW, 50mW, and 200mW, and can connect to its own battery. I think the Eachine EF-01 will do the job, but your link in the description listed multiple parts and confused me. I know you for responding majority of the time, please do so now.
Hi Quadcopter 101 i found the jjrc h31 on ebay for 12.89 …. Do you think its legit?
I had to put youtube into full screen just to see it. One for younger eyes I think
There’s a guy in Australia who’s modding the hell out of these things to get quite a bit of speed out of them.
Idk my kids may have fun with this little thing, considering they are special needs I won’t let them fly, even at age 14.
I have $03 rc car!
Hey Qc, a little off the Subject here ? But can you tell me What (if Anything) I can do/fix on the Syma X5SW ? Mine will just fall from the sky for “No” reason ! The Same happened a few Years ago, with a Different one ! Was Hoping after a Few years this Problem would of been Fixed ! When i put it in Expert mode it will just go off on it’s Own, no response from the tx ! Or there is a Second or 2 delay in response ! Any Ideas on how i can fix this? Thought about adding more Antenna wire to the current one in the tx, but Probably nkt going to help ! Thx …
Can we convert a tiny quadcopter into a 4WD car? I wonder how the gyros would behave while attempting to estabilize the trajectory. Hehehehehehe
I like that u put rc cars and trucks in ur video. Keep up the great work!
you dont try poor mans “follow me” in headless mode?
