$150 4WD 1/10 Scale Brushless Buggy – LRP S10 Blast 2

LRP S10 Blast 2 ⇨ http://bit.ly/LRP-S10-Blast2
I’ve got a new buggy on the bench! Gearbest sent me the LRP S10 Blast 2 to review for you guys. Did you just read tutu too? No, I’m not going to wear a tutu or review one for you guys. Back to the car. I’m guessing that the recent news from LRP might have something to do with Gearbest stocking these cars – even though they (Gearbest or the manufacturer) changed out the electronics listed on the box. That said, you are still getting the LRP roller with some new electronics in it that aren’t terrible. If I were to guess, these cars were made by the same manufacturer that makes the ZD Racing cars. There are too many similarities in the parts to not think so. It might be like the Helion in the US rebranding the VKAR. I’m not in the know on any of it, but trying to deduce what I can from what I’ve seen.

In the same way….you get the LRP chassis, but with are lesser price tag because of the electronics swap.
It handles pretty well for the price. I’ll do more testing and run videos with it soon for you guys. Let me know what you think about the LRP and ZD Racing 10421 similarities. I honestly don’t know for sure…just speculating, but I could be wrong.

Other review was pretty good for it so lmk what u think should I get it or hold off for something different or better

ronbernardino says:

The chasis was ment for brushed motor and nimh cells. Hence the countersunk design.

Darío TM says:

Please comment the size of the battery, I already order the LRP S10 Blast 2 from gearbest, I live in Mexico so I have to wait some weeks for delivery, meanwhile I want to buy an extra battery but I need to be shure that it will fit in

Joshua Prescott says:

Very similar to the ftx vantage

beasted!! 21!! says:

MR. BEARDED BASS says:

J-N-H-M says:

can you adjust the motor mounts ? change motor and pinion ?

Nordic RC Visions says:

Yeah, what I thought. These LRP buggies where probably manufactured in CN, stored in CN and then sold in CN after LRP closed, before they had a chance to ship them abroad. When LRP was in business rollers where probably build in CN and then shipped to LRP in Europe where they where equipped with electronics and then distributed. Didn’t know LRP where sold in the US before now though. Was it a well known brand in US? Too bad they closed. From what I heard they couldn’t keep up with competition for quality Racing ECS and motors, and got behind, and then tried to save it all starting to produce complete models. Obviously that didn’t work out for them. Too bad. Once they where a big trusted electronics brand.

jo jo says:

Check battery it says zd racing on it.If you break a front steering knuckle or c-hub or A-arm were do you get a new one?Looks cool and I’d like one but I don’t want “another” rc I can”t get parts for.

Brendan935 says:

Alex Tenerife says:

Same config as the ZD Racing models but more expensive.

Kellen Richard says:

Man…I want some cheaper rcs coming out of the USA. Not waiting 3 weeks for gearbest or paying 75 dollars shipping to get here a few days earlier.

james PrO says:

Link to battery you used of yours?

Cody Spring says:

The whole wear the motor is is there because I’m thinking that might have been a Nitro chassis at one time

Jason Brunda says:

Def not a nitro chassis its plastic the hole for the motor is for cooling the ones on the battery side are for saddle style NiMH packs

Ashish Amatya says:

How about Hobbyking Quanum vandal 1/10 brushless buggy rtr for $115

adrian nowakowski says:

Hello, can you tell what size has wheels on it? I waiting for, and want to buy some more, thanks

Warwick Campbell says:

the side slots could have be for side by side nicad battery packs

RC PATAPOUF says:

Rtr !?? Yeah i want it now

Lawrence Timme says:

The holes in the chassis are for cooling. The stock 8.5t motor gets really hot in the actual lrp version

WHA DAFUK says:

This is really an amazing car in 3s I’ve had mine for a while to,and it cost less then traxxas, the 15 time stop shop lol you pay more to repair those cars then to buy, it shows that cheap is sometimes great .

DIMITRIOS GYLTIDIS says:

The chassis looks exactly like the one on the Huanqi 741

Isaac Lyons says:

Looks awesome! Can’t wait for a running video!
