I was able to review a pre-production version of the PowerUp FPV kit, which adds remote control and first person view to paper airplanes. My testing revealed that paper is not the best material for an RC airplane. But I figured out how to overcome that and have fun with this model. Watch the video and/or read the written article at Tested.com for more details:

Excellent suggestion to use thin foam board instead of the heavy paper. You knew what I was thinking since I make foam gliders of various designs.
It kind of reminds me of a P-38 Lighting.
Hi nice . I have also the Powerup FPV . Did you have any issue with the motors? The left one it doesn’t work anymore. I wait e new one from the Team of Powerup .
Just wanted to thank Terry for awesome powerup fpv video using depron foam 2mm. I could not find 2mm depron foam. I contacted Terry and he advised I could try cellfoam 88. Then went to hobby store all I could find is 1/8” (3.175mm) in stock. I bought these sheets then cut the “infoamer” Terry’s model and thing flew great. So much better than paper. Better lift, control better, longer battery life. I am gonna try to look for depron as I have heard it is more durable. Thanks Terry
